Reported by lpa...@etouch.net, Jul 19 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version: 53.0.2785.21(Official Build)Revision 3ec5ccd4e93a73da783addab676596886de56d27-refs/branch-heads/2785@{#212} 32/64-bit.
OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10), Linux(14.04 LTS) and Mac(10.10.5, 10.11.4)

Steps:
1. Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings
2. Click on 'Advanced' >> 'CLEAR BROWSING DATA'
3. Open the drop down menu list and zoom out the page to any value for eg. 67%
4. Now click 'Reset to Default' and observe the popup menu.

Actual: Position of pop-up menu changes on clicking 'Reset to Default'.

Expected: Pop-up menu should remain in the same position.

This is a regression issue seen from M-53, will soon update the other info.

r400093 should be unrelated, chrome settings pages don't use service worker.

Don't see how my change could have triggered this since it's not touching anything MD Settings relies on.

Thanks, I'll have a look. Could be a result of CSS changes when I moved the dropdown to the left.

Important to fix this, but not a dev-blocker because:
1) it only triggers in a rare condition (when actively changing zoom on Settings)
2) it does not make Settings unusable
Sorry for not responding earlier. I started investigating, but noticed that the behavior disappeared after updating to a newer checkout. Then I somehow couldn't find this bug to report back :-/

lpanse@, do you still see the issue on the latest Canary?

Fixed by https://codereview.chromium.org/2374253012 (no longer possible to click on "reset to default" while the dropdown menu is open).
