Regression: Previous tool tip is seen on bookmarked apps icon on hovering on it

OS:Ubuntu 14.04

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch chrome >> Bookmark NTP and chrome://apps page >> Go to NTP, Hover on NTP bookmarked icon and then immediately hover on apps bookmarked icon and observe tooltip of bookmarked apps page

Expected: Previous tooltip should not be seen apps icon
Actual: Tooltip of NTP is seen while hovering on bookmarked apps icon.

This is a regression issue broken in M53.

NOTE: Issue is not seen in Windows

I am not able to reproduce this, however with the same setup, hovering on the "New Tab" then on the "Apps" to the left, gives a tool tip saying "New tab" which is incorrect. I can repro this independently of my CL.

Can you provide more information on your system as in GPU / driver version?

Thank you, this confirms that it is very likely a duplicate of  crbug.com/628168  that is fixed in top of tree. Unfortunately I don't have a machine with Ubuntu 14.04 and an Intel GPU, so could you check it is fixed in top of tree Chromium? Thank you for your help!

Checked the issue on 54.0.2802.0 dev and is working fine. Issue got fixed.  Previous tool tip is not seen now on hovering on apps bookmark icon.
