It's VERY annoying currently. Since the last update of Chrome Canary, the Hangouts extension no longer docks in the lower right corner of my Macbook or my Windows desktop. Whenever it is opened, it appears in the upper left corner of my screen (as opposed to the lower right dock), and it does not save the last location if I close the window. Furthermore, it will not notify me on my taskbar if I get a new message. 

To replicate, download the latest version of Chrome Canary, install Google Hangouts extension, open it and see it's no longer docked. Feel free to email me if you need anything else.
