Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.103 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Attempt to load Google Chrome 2. Watch what looks like Chrome starting 3. Chrome doesn't start What is the expected behavior? Chrome would start like normal What went wrong? While I can't say for sure, I am assuming that an update from Microsoft for patch Tuesday is causing some instability. I'm not at a point now where I can uninstall patches until Chrome works. Chrome will load when Windows was in safe mode. Crashed report ID: n/a How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 51.0.2704.106 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 While the details in the text file aren't mine, I am experiencing the same issues on Windows 7 but since this data is available, I am using it.

PS Everything worked fine last night, but it wouldn't launch at all when I turned my computer on this morning.

So I have uninstalled kb#3161608 for Windows 7 and chrome will now load/run. When I was loading chrome, I would receive an EAF flag from EMET but disabling EMET wouldn't solve the issue. So keeping this update uninstalled isn't a real solution, so we will need to figure out why it's causing the issue.
