Am currently getting a similar corruption with my 1080 GTX. But did'nt start getting the effect until i bought and hooked up a Sony 4k,3dTV the XBR-5590C to the HDMI port on my video card. Now its just straight pink (On my main monitor, Not my tv) when i go fullscreen in netflix, youtube. It fixes if i unplug the HDMI cable and restart. Also disabling acceleration of 2d canvas solves the problem. Not sure that helps. But yeah i get weirdness too right now from accelerated canvas.

Actually disabling HW acceleration for 2d canavs did nothing...on the other hand disabling Hardware-accelerated video decode fixed the issue so its related to chrome decoding i guess

Could you try on Chrome Canary (https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/canary.html) and see if it happens there as well?

Hi! Some users are coming to the Spanish Chrome Forum with this issue. Just in case it is helpful for you, most of them say disabling hardware acceleration in Chrome's settings seems to solve this issue. The thread where we're concentrating all the people with this issue is the following one: * https://productforums.google.com/d/msg/chrome-es/3ayo2y8C7gM/ygQcm33EBAAJ I'll keep them updated with the future comments of this bug. Cheers :)

this issue seem fixed btw, i tried to install crimson driver again and all seems good.

We blacklisted a number of video acceleration techniques on these systems, so they might be working now.
