Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.103 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a PDF located online. Ensure it is not a local file displayed in the browser. 2. Attempt to pinch-to-zoom. 3. Be disappointed. What is the expected behavior? For pinch-to-zoom to zoom in and out of the pdf. What went wrong? Zoom does not occur. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 51.0.2704.103 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.11.5 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Was this on Chrome for Mac, or a mobile/tablet/Windows touchscreen device? I was unable to reproduce this with Chrome for Android, version 51.0.2704.81.

patricialor: Android uses the system PDF viewer. i.e. it's not Internals>Plugins>PDF. Sounds like this is on Mac.

Right now, pinch-zoom is not expected to work properly on PDF on *any* platform. We have a CL that fixes this, but just haven't gotten around to landing it. Soon hopefully.

FYI, on Mac, we used to have pinch-zoom although not done natively. The zoom might be blurry. But that was broken since https://codereview.chromium.org/1828203003 |
