Confirmed. The root cause of this issue is that the Mac browser doesn't seem to record whether it is in fullscreen or not correctly. I just found and filed Issue 638080 which is probably the same root cause: the exit item is not shown when entering via the green fullscreen button in the Mac UI. The FullscreenController is not being told when a browser window enters fullscreen in some cases. FullscreenController::ToggleBrowserFullscreenMode() is the method that needs to be called. It's called when the IDC_FULLSCREEN command is issued, but that is apparently not the case when either the green Fullscreen button is clicked, nor when a new window is created via tab dragging while in fullscreen mode. I think someone from the Mac team should look at this. +karandeepb to reassign.

Archiving old bugs that haven't been modified in over two years. If you feel this issue should still be addressed, feel free to reopen it or to file a new issue. Thanks! |
