Regression: [MD Settings] Dropdown menu doesn't close after clicking the already-selected option

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 54.0.2794.0 (Official Build)02e8e6a146a2a17dcd8950b783130d5937ce87dd-refs/heads/master@{#404734} 32/64-bit. OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.10.5, 10.11.4) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Launch chrome, take a new user and navigate to chrome://md-settings page. 2. Go to 'Search engine' section and click to open drop down list. 3. Now click on 'Google' option from drop-down list and observe. Nothing happens after clicking on 'Google' option. Drop down list should get closed after clicking on 'Google' option. This is a regression issue, broken in M-51 series, below is bisect info. This is actually a relatively minor issue - changing the selection closes the menu as expected, but clicking on the current selection does not. I'm not even sure what the actual "correct" behavior is here.

I think that clicking the selected item should still close the dropdown. +bettes for his thoughts.

Agree with #4. Anyway, the GitHub issue was just fixed; presumably the next Polymer roll will fix this.
