Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.103 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Visit https://benlubar.github.io/useless-crap/nodebb-password.html and save a password using the browser (the form uses GET because GitHub pages doesn't allow POST, but it affects both POST and GET forms.) 2. Notice that when loading the page, the password is not autocompleted, but the box turns yellow. 3. Click on the password box and attempt to "Use password for". What is the expected behavior? "Use password for" fills the box with the saved password What went wrong? Attempting to fill the box using the password manager does not work. No combination of inputs I've tried other than going into chrome://settings/passwords and copying the password manually will enter the password into the box. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 51.0.2704.103 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 I'm not sure if this has always existed, but it was brought to my attention by this problem happening with NodeBB's administrator re-authentication, which was added in May 2016. |
