Hover.css - Some effects broken in Chrome Canary. Effects work on Standard Chrome.

Issue description

Chrome Version       : 54.0.2793.0
URLs (if applicable) : http://ianlunn.github.io/Hover/#effects
Other browsers tested:
  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:

      Firefox: OK 47.0
           IE: OK 10.0.9200.17609
Chrome Stable: OK 51.0.2704.103

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Visit one of the MANY websites using hover.css effects (For Example: http://ianlunn.github.io/Hover/#effects )
(2) Hover over buttons to view effects

What is the expected result?
All buttons will have a hover effect similar to the description of said effect.

What happens instead?
Some buttons have the correct hover effects while others do not have any hover effects at all.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Most effects are broken in Chrome Canary only. All effects work in each browser listed above, including the older (Stable) build of Google Chrome.

Able to reproduce this issue on Windows 7, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac OS 10.11.5 using chrome Canary M54-54.0.2794.0.

Effects appear to be working once again - Chrome version: 54.0.2796.2
