FB federated login from Spotify is blocking Bling |
|||||||
Issue descriptionApp Version (from "Chrome Settings > About Chrome"): Stable, Dev, and Canary iOS Version: iOS 9.3 Device: iPhone 6s Steps to reproduce: - Go to spotify.com - Click on menu in top right - Click "Sign up" - Click "Sign up with Facebook" Observed behavior: - A new window is opened with "Unsupported browser: Google Chrome for iOS doesn't support this feature. Please use Safari and try again" Expected behavior: We should get the normal Facebook federated login screen with FB username and password (or if user has the FB cookies) then the confirmation screen. Frequency: Always. Additional comments: IMPORTANT: If you click on "Login" in the menu instead of "Signup", you are directed to a screen that has a button saying "Log in with Facebook". If you click that button, no new windows are opened and you are taken to the right screen on FB. Is that bug on FB's side or Spotify's side or our side?

FB or Spotify?

Works fine with Safari User Agent. >>> FB or Spotify? Hard to say. I assume that FB has multiple versions of FB Connect API. Do we know if FB has fixed at least the latest version of their API? Do we know if they plan to backport their fix to older versions? Do we know if the fix requires client side changes or it's server side only thing? Also I also don't know if Spotify uses the latest API.
