Bookmarks scrambled when re-starting

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.106 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Use Bookmark Manager to order Bar and folders on Bar. 2. Re-start either MBP or Chromium 3. Look at all you careful sorting get scrambled and have to do it all again What is the expected behavior? Bookmarks stay sorted. What went wrong? Bookmarks get scrambled. Did this work before? Yes I can't remember but at least a year. Chrome version: 51.0.2704.106 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

It happens every time I restart. I don't use command line, need more instruction to try it.

Open the terminal application using spotlight. Then copy-paste the following command exactly: /Applications/Google\ Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google\ Chrome --user-data-dir=/tmp/bookmarktest This will launch Chrome with a clean profile (no bookmarks). Try adding some bookmarks, and then see if the problem reproduces?

Maybe this has been fixed in a more-recent version of Chrome? Closing since no response in over 2 months. Please reopen if you have more info/answer for c#4.
