Chromium allows to open popup window from Flash object without user gesture or blocking |
|||||||||
Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create a web page with flash object. See code of web page and code in attached index.html and code of swf in attached Main.as. I also attached compiled swf. 2. Upload this web page and swf to web server, it won't be work if it is opened as local file. 3. Go to this web server by Chrome/ Chromium. 4. Click anywhere on page. What is the expected behavior? Chromium blocks popup with message What went wrong? Popup window opens in the background See Issue 579934

spqchan@: Do you think you can get to this anytime soon? If not, perhaps we can reassign or adjust the priority.

Jochen - you know a lot about popups. Do you know if this is still an issue / suggest anyone who could look at this? Adding some enamel folk as well.

Given the Flash roadmap (https://www.chromium.org/flash-roadmap) and the fact that it requires affirmative user choice to run, WontFix is appropriate. |
