Chrome 53.0.2783.5
OSX 10.11.5
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open a tab to example.com
(2) Open a second tab to https://permission.site
(3) Click on "Location" to trigger a permission bubble, and leave it open.
Now, certain tab-related keyboard shortcuts don't work, but at least one does (Ctrl-Tab). Most of the corresponding menu items work, though:
N: Cmd-T
Y: File > New Tab
Y: Ctrl-Tab
N: Cmd-Alt-Left / Cmd-Alt-Right
Y: Window > Select Next/Previous Tab
N: Cmd-W
Y: File > Close Tab
N: Shift-Cmd-W
Y: File > Close Window
From what I can tell, keyboards shortcuts that are in the menu (all of the shortcuts above containing Cmd) don't work. The corresponding menu flashes, but (if you don't have the menu open) the command is captured by the bubble.
Ctrl-Tab is *not* a menu shortcut, so it is not intercepted the same way.
Page Info (clicking on the lock icon) does not block any shortcuts; it always disappears when you click outside of it, or enter a keyboard command that is not applicable to it.
rsesek@, I don't have time to dig into the code, but do you suspect this is easy to fix?
Or should we consign it to WontFix?
