AJ, do you know if this is a regression? Do we see this on any other platform?

Yuwei, could this be related to your refactoring work?

I'll take a look. Is this a regression and does this happen on other platforms?

It does repro from other client platforms, but not on other hosts. It is a regression, but it repros as far back as the release client and host. I'll check and see if it also occurred with the M51 release.

This sounds like the problem of the host instead of the client. I don't think this blocks the M53 Android release.

Hi AJ, have you checked this on M51?

Talked offline with AJ. Sounds like it is a problem of the Mac host. Assign this back to Untriaged since I have no Mac workstation...

AJ, can you attach a screenshot?

Here we go. Also I noticed that one monitor needs to be set at a lower resolution than the other to trigger this bug.

This looks like a Mac host bug. I suspect the capturer assumes that the desktop is rectangular and tries to capture pixel data out-of-bounds if it is not.

This part of the capturer has been changed. Does this still happen?

Hi everyone! There's a user in the Spanish Chrome Forum who has a Mac with two screens connected and the bottom half of one screen and the right half of the other screen are not refreshed (they do not change) while he is interacting with them. Could this be related with this bug? He's not actually changing the resolution on the host, but as this was the bug which was closer to his behavior, maybe it's related (I don't have a secondary screen in any computer I own, but I know when accessing another host with CRD sometimes the resolution changes automatically depending on what the client window size is). Cheers :) PS: The thread is this one, there are some screenshots in there: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/chrome-es/8mY11o8dY1k

I was unable to reproduce this with an apk from M59 (59.0.3071.51) so I think this can be closed.
