Regression: White traces observed over the bengali word on deselection of text in google translate.

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 53.0.2785.8 (Official Build) c6d43518027ef223fe101efd8baa5a9b1bc979b4-refs/branch-heads/2785@{#37} 32/64 bit. OS: Windows(7,8,10), Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS),Mac(10.10.5)(10.11.4) Steps: 1. Launch chrome and search translate 2. Paste করেছি in detected language field, select the text and de-select it, observe. Actual: White traces observed over the Bengali word on deselection of text. Expected: No such white traces should be seen. This is a regression issue broken in M-51. When selecting and then de-selecting on windows there is thin white line between where the top of the selection was and the acsender. Looks like the inalidation rect is one pixel too short.

Can still reproduce in Version 54.0.2824.0 dev (64-bit). Sounds like a paint invalidating issue, adjusting component accordingly.

Able to reproduce the issue on Windows 10 using chrome latest stable #55.0.2883.75 and latest canary #57.0.2944.0. Just for update, Still able to reproduce the issue on windows-10 using latest chrome canary version 57.0.2984.0. sky@ Could you please look into this issue. Thanks!

Fixed. I can't reproduce on Linux ToT or Win 10 Canary Version 59.0.3033.1 canary SyzyASan. I believe that wkorman's fixes for text selection area fixed this issue too. |
