UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.103 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open browser
2. Highlight text
3. Copy
4. Paste somewhere else (another web page, email, etc). 
5. Nothing.

What is the expected behavior?
Paste of copied text. 

What went wrong?
Nothing pastes (or, if something else has been previously copied, for instance from FF) that copy material pastes.  This suggests that it's the copy function that is failing and not putting copy material on clipboard.

This problem seems to come and go.  But all works fine in FF, so it does not seem to be my machine or the apps into which I am pasting, but rather this version of Chrome on this machine (copy and paste works on other machines in our office).
