Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.103 Safari/537.36 Example URL: youtube.com Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. open a video in new tab 2. it won't autoplay 3. What is the expected behavior? it won't autoplay What went wrong? Earlyer versions of chrome autoplayed youtube videos now they dont, i recommend adding an option to turn that off or on because i want my videos to autoplay Did this work before? Yes Google Chrome 45.0.2454.85 Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? HTML5 Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 51.0.2704.103 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

I think Chrome is by design won't auto play a video when the video is in background tab. Frank, can you confirm?

talked with frank offline. this is by design. video is not auto-play when the tab is in background. |
