LBS not switching from Chrome to IE

Reported by brs.toma...@gmail.com, Jul 5 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.102 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.update Chrome to 50.0.2661.102
2.Enter an url that was switching to IE before the update
3.

What is the expected behavior?
When we enter corporate website, it supposed to switch to IE11

What went wrong?
Url stayed in Chrome tab

WebStore page: Legacy Browser Support http://www.google.de/chrome/business/browser/lbs.html

Did this work before? Yes yesterday before major update to 50.0.2661.102

Chrome version: 50.0.2661.102 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

The switch between IE to Chrome is still working.
In about:extension, LBS is here and enabled but not working.

I also have this issue.
Have a look at " issue #617897 - [LBS] fails on beta version"

There is something a little misplaced with this bug request. Chrome stable is since quite some time at version 52. Chrome with LBS has been working on 50 with no complaints so far.

Could it be that it was rather the recent update of LBS to version 4.5 which had a known issue with URLs being trimmed when loaded in IE that you are describing. It has been fixed in v4.6 btw.

If it is anything else we will need some more precise description with screenshots if possible to be able to help out with this issue. Also check in chrome://policy if all LBS settings are properly set and visible to the browser.
Did you manage to get this one resolved? Barring any new comments I will close this entry next week.
