"Aw, snap" errors on all pages/settings under Windows 10 Insider Preview 14379

Reported by madcab...@gmail.com, Jul 4 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2787.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install Chrome Stable/dev/Canary or Chromium fresh
2. Run browser
3. All tabs will crash with "Aw, snap" error, regardless of what is loaded in it

What is the expected behavior?
Pages/settings/history load properly

What went wrong?
Something appears to have changed in Windows 10 build 14379. Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox are unaffected. Launching with the option --no-sandbox works, as does setting Windows 7 compatibility mode, but Chrome seems to disable this option after every launch.

Crashed report ID:

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? Yes It was working fine prior to rebooting for the 14379 update

Chrome version: 54.0.2788.0 Channel: canary
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Microsoft seems to be in bugfix mode right now building up to the Anniversary Update in less than a month. I am unsure if this is just a problem with my particular upgrade or of its for anyone running this build yet, but I would hate for this to be a widespread problem that makes it into the stable Windows 10 anniversary update in less than a month. One other person so far has confirmed having this problem, though. https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=footer#!msg/chrome/VpHmtSvD7V4/_FccTIqyBgAJ

Please note the OS version is incorrect, since Chrome is running in compatibility mode.

madcabbit@ Thanks for the issue.

Unable to reproduce the issue on windows 7 using chrome version 54.0.2787.0.Pages loaded without any crash.

Request you once please try the issue by upgrading chrome to latest canary version and if the issue still persists please provide us the crash id from chrome://crashes.

Thanks,
You can't reproduce the issue in Windows 7, as per the title, its only affecting Windows 10 Insider Preview 14379. I've tried stable, developer mode, canary, and the latest Chromium build and it affects them all.

Closing the issue as there is no user update on this for long.

Requesting to file a new issue with crash id if such crashes are still seen on the latest stable-56.0.2924.87 & canary#58.0.3003.0.

Thanks.
