Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/50.0.2661.102 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Login to incognito mode on Android Mobile 2. Look up some content on Youtube inside (incognito mode) 3. Login to Youtube and check in History. What was searched in incognito mode can be viewed there. What is the expected behavior? What was viewed/searched in incognito mode should not be added to Youtube History. As both are google products. What went wrong? I am able to see my search history of incognito mode in, youtube history. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 50.0.2661.102 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 It can be very embarrassing specially, when you have looked up some adult content in incognito mode.

Were you signed-in to your Google Account in the Incognito mode window?

Yes, I did sign in to YouTube because it was adult content. But did not leave incognito mode.

If you sign in to a website, you are disclosing your identity. Chrome does not special case specific websites in this regard. I would argue that this is working as intended. You can pause or disable your YouTube Watch and Search history here: https://myaccount.google.com/activitycontrols and you may reach out to the youtube team to request an incognito feature here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/youtube |
