Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8538.0.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2785.0 Safari/537.36 Platform: 8538.0.0 (Official Build) canary-channel kip Steps to reproduce the problem: N/A (feature request) What is the expected behavior? N/A (feature request) What went wrong? N/A (feature request) Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 53.0.2785.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 8538.0.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 One of the key Material Design guidelines, if not *the* key Material Design guideline, is that an MD-compliant UI should be able to seamlessly scale from mobile to tablet to desktop with minimal, if any, change to layout. Why, therefore, is the status area on the bottom-right in the case of Chrome OS but at the same time on the top-right in the case of Android? This is *very* un-MD-like. I, therefore, have contributed a mockup that should hopefully set the MD guidelines straight from mobile to desktop implementations, and attached it to this feature request itself.

Also, in TouchView ONLY: might be a good idea to implement the same swipe-down gesture as what's used on Android to open this unified menu.

This is most likely a 53 bug and should be already fixed, the notification should be on the lower right. please reopen if not. |
