Video doesn't honor aspect ratio

Reported by teo8...@gmail.com, Jul 3 2016

Issue description

Example URL:
http://output.jsbin.com/bapexoy

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. visit http://output.jsbin.com/bapexoy
2. play the video

What is the expected behavior?
The video should not shown at its correct aspect ratio, which is 16:9

What went wrong?
the video is displayed with the wrong aspect ratio. Apparently pixels are assumed to be square, and the DAR specified in the file is completely ignored.

Note that, on Linux, Chrome gets it right (and Firefox too).

Did this work before? N/A

Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? HTML5

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 51.0.2704.106 Channel: stable
OS Version:
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

I'm so sick to have to deal with such basic bugs. It seems as if video playback on the web was a new thing.

Does this work in Chrome Beta (M52) or higher?

This is stupid.

If you get no response, what you should do is test it yourself, and IF it works then close the issue. Not close it just because the original poster doesn't happen to have time or be willing to test Chrome Beta.

Unfortunately I can't try it on Chrome Beta because I don't have enough storage space to install it (I have 5 GB of internal storage, but Android ate up most of it and even moving everything I could move to the external SD, I can't seem to free up more space).
I can't repro, hence asking for verification. Sorry I didn't make that clear.

Oh, I see, that does make sense then.

I have finally been able to test Chrome Beta and it is fixed indeed.
