Cookies exception for "books" does not work

Issue descriptionfeatures: what does it do? why do we need it? bugs: repro steps (I did X and expected Y but Z happened!) I try to open items in my Google Play Books library, but get an error message: <<Can't open book To read books on Google Play, set your web browser to allow cookies for books.googleusercontent.com. Learn more Exit>> I follow instructions in the "learn more" link... Settings/Advanced/Content/ManageExceptions to "allow" cookies in books.googleusercontent.com. After saving/closing the Settings page, I still cannot open any books. Same error report. Refreshing does not help.

(Removing label since this doesn't sound like an Android issue) Are you using an incognito window by any chance?

No. I just rechecked and made certain I was not incognito. Still get the same error.

It's possible that the Site Settings in the new settings page might not be working yet. Please try using the old Settings page linked to in the "Personal appeal" banner and let us know if that works. |
