Issue description
Chrome Version : <Copy from: 'about:version'>
URLs (if applicable) : Specically Google Docs (Docs, not spreadsheet, etc.)
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
Safari:
Firefox: Fail (same issue)
IE:
Opera: Fail
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Open any Google Docs (document, not speadsheet.)
(2) Load data in Linux "Primary Selection" X clipboard by highlighting text with mouse.
(3) Left click inside Google Doc document. Click middle button to attempt paste. This has worked for year but stopped working about a week ago. I reported to Google Drive but they are not interested.
What is the expected result? The text that was loaded into Primary Selection X clipboard should be pasted.
What happens instead? Nothing is pasted.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Note: The paste using the mouse middle button still works outside of the Google Doc area. For example, inside Chrome's address bar or the Google Docs Ctrl-F Search Text Box.
I think this is a Google Docs Linux specific bug but I can't get the Google Docs people to listen. Link: https://goo.gl/WhGB6d
Any help would be appreciated. Loosing the Primary Selection Paste capability cripples Google Docs in Linux.

Not a Chrome specific issue but issue with Google Docs as confirmed by the reporter @ https://goo.gl/WhGB6d . Adding proper label for someone from the respective team to have a look at this.
