uninstalling Chromium failed

  Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari:
    Firefox:
         IE:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)trying to uninstall via settings>app (WIn 10)
(2)Confirm This app and its related info will be uninstalled
(3)nothing happens

What is the expected result?
app removed from system

What happens instead?

Chromium still in the system, However has got UNAVAILABLE satus. Is Chromium the same as chrome Its icon is similar but greyish.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if

Chromium has been installed with some freeware - with no consent from my part. I am not sure if it is not a malware etc. How to remove it?
possible.

I have probably the same view. It says it is going to uninstall but nothing happens and app is still there. What screenshot you wish?

I need uninstaller please.

Please follow the below video which might help, there are steps provided to remove chromium on windows 10. Let us know if this resolves the issue.

Yes, you can close the case, thanks.

(it was nothing about malware - it was a problem with original chromium app offered by file facts or something like that. I managed to uninstall it eventually.)
