When the CL landed, the metrics went down. When the CL was reverted, metrics went back up.

Guidou: is the change in metrics expected?

Some tests may run slower due to this CL, so I think the change is expected.
Nevertheless, this was reverted and will not be relanded so I think it's safe to close this bug.
