System: Linux Arch w/ xfce4 and Arc-dark GTK+ theme
The old settings menu had an option for using the GTK+ theme, however the material design new settings menu does not. You can set chrome to use the GTK+ theme using [chrome://settings-frame/] without having to revert back to the old settings menu completely and the changes save correctly.
