features: what does it do? why do we need it?

bugs: repro steps (I did X and expected Y but Z happened!)

With the old setting layout, I appreciated how you could see much more information on one screen. With the new layout you can see much less information in the same space and even though there are less items in the field of view it seems more visually crowded and difficult to use. It's hard to in point exactly what I don't like about the new variant but it seems to be primarily related to the use of space and how inefficient the new settings feels.
