Extra space appended after typing every character in Google search box

Scenerio: 
1) Open chrome browser. Type google.com
2) Click on Search tab
3) Now click on Account icon on top right
4) Start typing something
5) What ever you search now comes with additional blank space per character.

This happens for Chrome on Desktop I have put in Wrong category , not sure how to change it

This doesn't look an omnibox problem.  It looks like a problem with the search box on the google page itself.

This wouldn't be a Chrome bug at all AFAICT.

Note that this sort of thing can happen if you have an IME set to insert wide characters.
