Windows 10 File Browser Preview Pane Eats the Whole Disk

Reported by aa...@brandonbledsoelaw.com, Jun 28 2016

Issue description

Google Chrome	51.0.2704.103 (Official Build) m (32-bit)
Revision	aa7c8d23c098e96a388ffedf6698230bda650bb3-refs/branch-heads/2704@{#723}
OS	Windows
Blink	537.36 (@aa7c8d23c098e96a388ffedf6698230bda650bb3)
JavaScript	V8 5.1.281.65
Flash	22.0.0.192
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari: untested
    Firefox: untested
         IE: untested

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) From gmail, start an email
(2) Go to attach a file on a wdmycloud linux server on the network with preview pane on in windows 10
(3) File browser hangs, disk space shoots up to 99 percent usage, you can hear the disk being very, very busy. Is chrome trying to index a terabyte of data so that it can preview it or something?

(4) Turn preview pane in file browser off and the problem goes away. I like preview pane, though.

What is the expected result?

What happens instead?

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

aaron@: Does this happen only when you try to attach the files on a wdmycloud linux server on the network?
Yes, evidently so. I just turned the preview pane on while trying to add an attachment from my local machine (desktop, other folders in a file browser that are NOT the little linux server) and it did not replicate that behavior.

Does gmail use an <input type = "file"> element to bring up the file picker?

I couldn't find <input type=file> in Gmail compose widget.
Anyway, I don't think this is a Blink issue. Probably an issue of the Linux file server.

Don't have a set up with Windows-10 system and Linux file server. Looping MTV team@ for further inputs on this.

aaron@, can you please upgrade to the latest stable build and check if you still see this issue ?

Requesting you to verify it as we do not currently have linux file server setup yet.
