Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/53.0.2774.3 Safari/537.36 Example URL: http://imgur.com/gallery/kGVh1 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Visit website 2. Wait till videos load 3. They appear black-ish (not all but most) for a while 3. Even once they have loaded properly, they sometimes go back to the weird look sometimes after being out of the screen. What is the expected behavior? For them to look normal. What went wrong? It doesn't look how it should. Did this work before? Yes couple days ago, seems to work on my dev channel installation (53.0.2774.3 64-bit) Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? HTML5 Does this work in other browsers? N/A Chrome version: 53.0.2780.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 Attached image is an example of the weird look of the first 2 videos in the provided link.

Got a AMD GPU. Not sure if that matters.

Seems it's now broken in dev (53.0.2783.4 dev-m (64-bit)) and working in Canary 54.0.2787.0 canary (64-bit) :D So I suppose it's fixed, provided dev will get the canary build somewhere down the line

As I've discovered in the similar issue I link to here, the video playback issues I'm having in Chrome Stable are far worse in Chrome Canary. Perhaps OP can also test video playback in Chrome Canary.

I never tested it in stable in the first place :f Did in canary and dev. But for my link, the videos seem to work fine in dev (Version 53.0.2785.8 dev-m (64-bit)). For 9gag autoscroll they seem broken still. Seems broken for both things in Version 54.0.2796.2 canary (64-bit)

Thanks. Yeah, I just meant the latest Canary. I guess you're not getting the green and purple vids in Canary? It's pretty much unusable on my computer. There's a screen record in the other thread.

Not fixed. Broken in 54.0.2840.8. Duping against currently-open bug on this; some media person please triage. |
