I could reproduce this in Chrome (Version 50.0.2661.102 Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit) ) in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. However, I couldn't find the definition of this keyboard shortcut in both Firefox (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly?redirectlocale=en-US&as=u&redirectslug=Keyboard+shortcuts&utm_source=inproduct) and Chrome (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/157179?hl=en) keyboard short cuts documentations. If this is not defined, it should not work in any browser. Otherwise, the respective documentation should be updated and this is an actual bug. Either way seems to be a minor bug.

I have also not found reference to this feature among keyboard shortcuts, neither for MSIE. Maybe this is not regarded as keyboard shortcut, but is just functionality within lists. Pressing a letter within a list also does something and is not a shortcut :) m
