Baidu search can't be used sometimes in Chinese version

Reported by zhengly...@foxmail.com, Jun 27 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.84 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
baidu.com

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.When I use Baidu search engine in the address bar,it may fail because of DNS hijacking of ISP.
2.

What is the expected behavior?

What went wrong?
It may be redirected to the home page of Baidu

Does it occur on multiple sites: No

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? No

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 51.0.2704.84 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

I want to modify the the search engine setting of Baidu, but it is locked and defaults to be a HTTP connection.
So can it be changed into HTTPS connection in next Chinese version?Or it should not be locked.
