Version: Chrome 53.0.2777.0 canary (64-bit)
OS: OSX 10.11.5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) click on the chevron button on the bookmarks bar (=chevron menu appears)
(2) click again on the chevron button on the bookmarks bar (=chevron menu disappears)
(3) move the mouse cursor away from the chevron button 

What is the expected output? 
The chevron button should not have a hover state after step 3.

What do you see instead?
The chevron button still has a hover state.
