Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.49 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Type the following text into the address bar (including quotes): searching for "a phrase" 2. Move the cursor to the end of the word "for", either with the keyboard or mouse. 3. Use Ctrl+Backspace to delete the first two words. What is the expected behavior? The text in the address bar now reads (including quotes): "a phrase" What went wrong? The second press of Ctrl+Backspace went in the opposite direction and deleted the first quote, resulting in the address bar reading (including quote): searching a phrase" Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 52.0.2743.49 Channel: beta OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 This is only broken within the address bar. Text inputs on pages are not affected. The Ctrl modifier seems to move to the next word (to the right) if the cursor is currently surrounded by whitespace, even if the user wants to move the cursor left (either with backspace or the left arrow). |
