Chrome Canary can't update

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.106 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Click hamburger menu
2. Mouseover Help
3. Click About Google Chrome

What is the expected behavior?
Chrome should try to update

What went wrong?
ERR_INVALID_URL

Did this work before? Yes about a week ago

Chrome version: 53.0.2778.2  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version:

I think it because Chrome change the way to display things
I try chrome://help-frame
and it worked.

I can confirm "chrome://help-frame" works.

Still, the UI flow from the hamburger menu to the update screen is broken. I have to manually type that address to check for updates.
