Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8350.38.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.49 Safari/537.36 Platform: 8350.38.0 (Official Build) beta-channel samus Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Set up Smart Lock with one Android device 2. Go to chrome://settings and search for Smart Lock 3. Look for way to pair an additional device, but only option is to turn off Smart Lock What is the expected behavior? There is an option to pair an additional Android device for Smart Lock. What went wrong? I have an Android 5.1 phone (Nexus 5X) and tablet (Nexus 9) signed into the same account as my Chromebook. I already set up Smart Lock with the 5X. I should be able to use either to unlock my Chromebook, but I don't see a way to pair with a second device. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 52.0.2743.49 Channel: beta OS Version: 8350.38.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

This appears to be similar to an issue we are following on CBC. Multiple devices are the commonality. https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=ba_notification#!topic/chromebook-central/BpHh_PUpSvg;context-place=forum/chromebook-central #CBC-RS/TC-watchlist

tbuckley@, have you been looking at smartlock at all?

Nope. Only thing I'm looking at around Smart Lock is how to avoid overloading the user pod with all the different stuff we're adding to it.

Given the complexity of this feature and the work we have to do to get smartlock working well with a single device, I don't think this is feasible for the foreseeable future. |
