Buildbucket: display build id |
||||
Issue descriptionCurrently buildbucket plugin displays list of builds with builder name and link, but it does not display build id. It complicates build debugging. In particular, in case of swarming the build URL takes the user to a swarming task page (e.g. https://luci-milo.appspot.com/swarming/prod/2f93785122be0410) which does not know the build id it is associated with, so I have to search for a build by swarming task id. Please display build id, ideally so a user can copy it to clipboard. At the very least as a tooltip like rietveld does (it is not copyable though, I usually open underlying HTML to copy it)

I'm a bit confused -- rietveld doesn't display a tooltip. The tooltip is the build result (success, failure, running, etc), not a build id. I'm also not sure what you mean by "build id". The developer cares about where they can view the results of the build, and have a unique permalink to it. That's what the luci-milo url provides. What other information do you think should be displayed to them, and why do you think it is important enough to clutter the UI?
