Regression: Hangout icon is not seen properly on hangout extension window.

OS: Windows(7,8,10), Linux (ubuntu 14.04 LTS)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch chrome, navigate to above url and click on 'ADD TO CHROME'(Hangouts extension installed)
(2) Observe the hangout icon on overlay 
 
Hangout extension icon is not seen properly on hangout window(overlay)

Hangout extension icon should seen properly on hangout window(overlay)

This is regression issue, broken in ‘M 53’,below is bisect info:

Good Build: 53.0.2776.0
Bad Build: 53.0.2777.0

Narrow Bisect:

Suspecting: r401387 ?

That commit only removed two expections. Maybe r401390.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 7 using chrome latest canary M53-53.0.2783.2. Observed the hangout extension icon is seen properly on hangout window as expected. Attaching screen-shot for reference. 

Reporter@ - Is this issue still seen on chrome latest canary M53-53.0.2783.2 ? Could you please recheck this issue and kindly update this bug with latest behavior.
