Issues playing videos/gifs

features: what does it do? why do we need it?

bugs: repro steps (I did X and expected Y but Z happened!)

All videos including animated GIFs fail to play after about one or two seconds when using Facebook.

Not a Settings bug, but trying to share the right details. Could you share your version number from chrome://version as well as what operating system you are using?
