I don't have any concrete principles to cite, but the content on the white "material" sheets [1] feels too wide when the windows is roughly between 600 and 1000pt wide.

In addition, the material sheet goes out of the frame even for a modest window width of 700pt[2]; it should really be able to shrink to half that size to be properly responsive, especially for the page in the screenshot[3].

Perhaps someone is still tweaking this, but there was a personal appeal for me to file this bug, so I did. ;-)
