chrome://help is broken

Reported by edm0...@gmail.com, Jun 22 2016

Issue description

Bug: "About Google Chrome" directs to chrome://help/, as opposed to the (new?) chrome://settings/help

OS:
Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11.5) on MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015).

Chrome (Canary):
Version 53.0.2774.3 canary (64-bit), shows as "up to date" as of 8:59 am Central, 22-June-2016.

Steps:
1a- Select "About Google Chrome" from the Mac app menu (under "Chrome")
1b- or Select "About Google Chrome" from the triple dot menu (in browser window, far right), under "Help"
2 - Observe the URL (chrome://help/) and the ERR_INVALID_URL message

The correct steps appear to direct to chrome://settings/help, starting with some version since the last time I checked (I'm guessing a couple of days at a minimum). I found the correct looking about page under settings, while looking for it through a different menu.

Note: the main settings pages (chrome://settings) asks specifically to "please file bug reports before switching back to the old settings" (the appeal from the Chrome settings team). It seems that the settings change may be directly related.
