How do you clear your cache? Through Settings, through History, by using Ctrl+Shift+Delete, or some other way?

Currently the Ctrl+Shift+Delete option is not working, so I'll assume it's that. It navigates to chrome://settings/clearBrowserData but that returns a blank page.

I use CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE to access it

Yeah, initially I thought this might be an issue with us not sending people to the right version of Settings, but it's a URL issue instead. Updating!

Do you have any idea on the timeline for being able to see the Clear Browsing Data subpage? The product is unusable for me until I can clear the cache. Thanks for your help!!

As we work on this fix, you can still visit the Clear Browsing Data dialog by opening Settings, scrolling to the Privacy section (within Advanced at the bottom), and clicking "Clear browsing data".

Until we fix up routing to navigate to dialogs and other actions, we could work around this in settings_router.js:

1. remove the duplicate '/advanced' route (keep the one with section: 'privacy')
2. update '/clearBrowserData' subpage to []
3. update '/certificates' subpage to []

For better visibility:

Clear Browsing Data is still available through the Advanced > Privacy section in settings, and also through the navigation panel on the history page (chrome://history).

For web development purposes, instead of clearing cache you can use the "Disable cache" checkbox in DevTools > Network tab, or hard reload (long-press on the reload button while DevTools are open).

dbeam@, michaelpg@ - are you working on this or should I take a look?

Fixing the general issue (showing dialogs corresponding to URLs) will take some thought. Unless dbeam object, I'll put in a temporary fix due to the amount of activity and dupes about this issue.

Verified the issue on Windows 7, Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac OS 10.11.5 using chrome latest M53-53.0.2785.8 by following steps mentioned below.

1. Enabled flag chrome://flags/#enable-md-history
2. Pressed Ctrl+Shift+Del
3. Observed chrome://settings/clearBrowserData shows Clear Browsing Data sub page
4. Clicked on clear browsing data and able to clear the history with no issues.

Hence adding TE-Verified label.
