Unable to reproduce the issue on Win 10 using canary 53.0.2773.0.Could you please review the attached screen shot for the same and let us know if any.

chrome://help loads the "This site can’t be reached" page when the MaterialDesignSettings feature is enabled. This means it cannot be accessed from the 3-dot menu (Help -> About).

Fix Material Settings Help and Settings redirect

"About in Settings" shouldn't affect loading of MD Settings or
prevent Help from loading at all.

On Chrome OS, chrome://settings wasn't redirecting; on other
platforms, chrome://help wasn't loading.

I am still seeing it on Latest Canary#53.0.2776.0 for Mac OS X 10.11.5. I do see the above fix has been landed in this build, not sure if something is still broken.

Whoops, looks like a change I made partway through the CL broke chrome:// help again.

As of latest update - Version 53.0.2778.2 canary (64-bit) - Win 7 Pro the issue still exists. Using manual workaround - manually use correct URL to check for updates "chrome://settings/help".

In the meantime, chrome://settings/help will open the About page, and if you're in the Material Settings experiment chrome://chrome will still take you to the old version.
