[Mac][MaterialDesign] Long titles of bookmark on the Bookmarksbar are no longer truncated with a fade out effect

Version: Chrome 53.0.2772.0 canary (64-bit)
OS: OSX 10.11.5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Save a bookmark with a long title on the Bookmarksbar.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Long titles are no longer truncated with a fade out effect. Instead, there are three periods.
