Now, if we had actual CQ status next CQ commit box (like [running](status url)  || not triggered || [ran, stopped](status url) ), then surely we'd update that status.

I agree here. I was naively and stupidly over-enthusiastic about this for no good reason. Thanks to andybons@ for reasoning me out this issue (and sorry for stress).
