Regression:Seek bar appears weird after clicking on full screen icon in "xfinity.com"

Chrome Version:53.0.2768.0 (Official Build) 9cd2e77b728d6d5ac115acd944b37df70423c355-refs/heads/master@{#399800}(32/64-bit)
OS: Windows(7,8,8.1,10), Linux(Ubuntu 14.04 LTS)

Test URL:http://www.xfinity.com/

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Launch chrome and navigate to the above url.
(2)Scroll down the page and click on the video under 'What is XFINITY® X1?' section.
(3)Play the video and click on full screen icon and observe the seek bar.

Actual:Seek bar appears weird after clicking on full screen icon(i.e seekbar does not appears smoothly)

Expected:Seek bar should appear properly.

This is a Regression issue broken in M-52,below is the change log:

Good build: 52.0.2735.0
Bad build: 52.0.2737.0

Kindly help to re-assign if your change is not the cause for this issue.

Note:
(1)This issue is not seen on IE, Mac.
(2)Unable to perform Flash bisect for above issue as issue is not playing in chromium build.

My change was Android only so this is unrelated.

I suspect the issue was always there, but it's more obvious when you have white controls. WDYT Frank?

i don't think that there's anything actionable here.  it looks like a site issue that, as c#1 points out, is probably just harder to see with the old UI.
