Issue descriptionMode: force_next Version: 53.0.2764.0 Reproduction Steps: 1. Make sure that you are in developer mode on Chrome OS. 2. Enable Chromevox Next. 3. Press CTRL+Alt+T to access the terminal. 4. Type "shell" without the quotes and press enter. 5. Type "sudo su" without the quotes and press enter. When doing this, a warning message appears that a user is entering a powerful admin mode, and a user much ensure that he or she presses the correct keys. Chromevox reads this message, however offers no way to re-read or review this message or any subsequent messages that pop up in the text-based terminal. Expected Result: Chromevox ought to provide a way for reading such textual information. Actual Result: As far as I know, Chromevox has no way of reading and reviewing this textual content. I am using Chromevox Next on CHrome OS Canary build on a Google Pixel 2

Just to be clear, these are two separate issues and processes. One is for shell, and one is logging in via terminal. I apologize if this was not made clear.

The following revision refers to this bug: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src.git/+/58bd00b9212cd3df9d6b7838367dd36b5032b3ca commit 58bd00b9212cd3df9d6b7838367dd36b5032b3ca Author: dtseng <dtseng@chromium.org> Date: Fri Aug 19 23:36:08 2016 Support navigation within editable nodes. This enables navigation using ChromeVox commands within editable (and richly editable) text using character, word, and line navigation. Object navigation skips over descendant editable nodes, but will still land on the top level node. In addition, when encountering a read only text field, treat it like a container (i.e. navigate inside of it). This enables navigation in crosh's terminal output.
