Helvetica zero width space rendered as square in print preview

1. open attached test.html
2. open print preview
3. (optionally print to pdf)

What is the expected behavior?
Text renders properly.

What went wrong?
Square boxes can be seen.

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? Yes 

Chrome version: 51.0.2704.84  Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.11.5

Able to reproduce on Mac OS 10.11.5 using chrome latest stable M51-51.0.2704.84  and canary M53-53.0.2768.0. All other OS is working fine.
